Corporate & Commercial Energy/Infrastructure Associate

A multinational law firm ranked in the Top 20 are looking to hire an Associate with 2-5 years PQE into their Corporate Energy & Infrastructure practice. This firm has been acknowledged as having one of the leading international resource and infrastructure divisions in the world.

The Role

This leading team are looking to hire an Associate with 2-5 years PQE.

Whilst working as part of the Corporate Energy & Infrastructure team, there will also be the requirement to occasionally work in the firms specialist Oil & Gas team, so this role offers a real variety of responsibilities that will help to develop a junior associates experience.

This firm would be interested to meet with Associates who have experience in any of the following - private M&A; other corporate transactions such as joint ventures, complex commercial contracts, project development and/or utility sector regulation. Though experience of this type of work in the power/energy sectors is a bonus, they will still interview Corporate/Commercial Associates without the sector experience but with a keen interest to move into this area.

The Requirements

• Associate 2-5 years PQE with experience in Corporate/Commercial matters at a reputable firm.
• Demonstrable experience of corporate/commercial transactions and/or projects and working directly with high end clients.
• Ability to work on large scale, high profile and technical transactions.
• Experience or strong interest in the power and/or infrastructure sector.
• Excellent academic record and strong commercial skills.
