Construction Associate (1 Year+ PQE)

My client is a highly regarded, full service legal500/ Chambers rated law firm based in the heart of Tunbridge Wells and they are currently seeking an ambitious Solicitor to join their established Construction team. Competitive salary and benefits package available.

1-3 year PQE enthusiastic non-contentious construction lawyer ideally with experience of advising on methods of procurement, standard form building contracts (e.g. the JCT standard forms), consultant appointments and collateral warranties.

This is an opportunity to get involved in high quality, complex work. The client base is an interesting mix of large property portfolio-holders, institutional investors, shopping centres and local authorities with substantial pipelines of repeat work, with the team also regularly dealing with large one-off construction projects including new build hotels, leisure centres, office developments and school refurbishment projects. The team consists of six dedicated construction lawyers, both contentious and non-contentious. The chosen Construction Solicitor should hold 1-3 years' post qualified experience and relish an opportunity representing clients, in both contentious and non-contentious matters, while continually seeking growth opportunities on a personal and professional level.

Paired consistently good academics, it's expected that you can demonstrate strong technical capability, possess natural ambition and passion in the area and be enthusiastic about partaking in new, business development initiatives, which align with the department's continual growth plans.

Proactive and organised, the ideal candidate will have strong client management skills essential to quickly enable an independent (albeit totally supported) lawyer to manage an exciting and diverse workload.
