Claimant Employment Solicitor - Outstanding Benefits Package

A firmly established and very successful Legal 500 listed specialist claimant practice is continuing to enjoy a huge influx of instructions despite the current trends in the claimant employment law market and so is eager to appoint an additional Employment Solicitor or Legal Executive to its specialist Employment Team in Birmingham city centre to deal with a caseload of contentious claimant employment law matters.

This practice has an excellent pedigree and over the years it has forged a well-deserved reputation for acting solely on behalf of claimants in relation to all types of employment, personal injury and clinical negligence. The firm has a national reach and has robust relationships with an extensive and longstanding client base meaning that this practice can guarantee security and stability in the long term and it really does continue to buck the trend within the current claimant employment law environment.

The Employment Team here has an excellent pedigree and over the years it has forged a well-deserved reputation for acting on behalf of claimants who have encountered difficulties with employers and due to an increase in instructions, the firm is keen to appoint either a solicitor or a legal executive to an already very strong employment team to work alongside a number of experienced employment lawyers. You will have a minimum of 2 years' PQE and will be able to handle your own caseload of claimant employment matters which will comprise dealing with the full remit of employment matters such as discrimination and unfair dismissal as well as dealing with TUPE and compromise agreements. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to conduct your own advocacy before the Employment Tribunal and will act as a focal contact point for clients who are urgently seeking employment advice.

In return the firm is offering a competitive salary and perhaps one of the best benefits packages on the market. This includes a generous holiday allowance, bi-annual pay reviews, an enhanced pension scheme, life assurance, childcare vouchers and interest free travel loans. You will also benefit from further paid leave when the office closes over the Christmas period.

This is a very good opportunity to join a well-regarded team where you will have conduct of quality employment matters whilst working for a firm that is completely employee centric and which puts its employees' well-being at the heart of everything they do. There are significant opportunities for progression and development and you will be able to take advantage of a clear and defined development program allowing you to make tangible progress in your career so for more information on this Employment Solicitor / Legal Executive role please contact Matt Robinson at QED Legal.
