Commercial Underwriter/Solicitor – London

A well regarded multi office in house Legal team are currently looking to recruit a Commercial Underwriter/Solicitor to work in the Central London office. As a Commercial Underwriter/Solicitor you will be responsible for underwriting high net worth commercial legal indemnity risks within agreed authority levels to achieve profitable growth on behalf of the organisation.

As a Commercial Underwriter/Solicitor you will be responsible for review, evaluate and price cases by applying sound underwriting judgement and adhering to company policy and regulations within agreed authority limit, negotiating and maximise business probability by means of effective underwriting decision and techniques. You will be responsible for liaising with clients, solicitors and brokers in relation to insurance policies, developing and maintain key relationships as well as coaching and motivating less experienced member of staff.

To be considered for this role, our client is requiring a Solicitor who has worked within a Commercial Property either in house or private practice with the ability to focus on specific targets and demonstrate target achievement.
