Senior Property Lawyer (Director level)

Leeds

I am working with an award-winning regional Leeds law firm who are looking for an experienced Property lawyer to Head up their Commercial and Residential teams.

This is a senior role and the right candidate should ideally have over 7 years pqe/qualification with solid experience in both areas. If you are a slightly lower level of PQE but have good management experience and a proven track record of business development, then the firm would still be interested in hearing from you.

In terms of residential work you should have experience:

  • In the CQS application process
  • Of handling a full caseload of sale and purchase, leasehold and freehold matters
  • Of dealing with New Build properties
  • In re-mortgages
  • Transfers of Equity

For commercial work you should have experience:

  • In commercial acquisitions, leases, licences to assign
  • Landlord and Tenant management
  • Re-Financing of Commercial Property
  • Lease Extensions

This is a senior role with the possibility of Directorship for the right candidate.

Salary will be dependent on experience and there are excellent benefits including free parking, bonus scheme, and pension.
