Regulatory Solicitor NQ

Large commercial and highly ranked law firm in Leeds requires an NQ Solicitor to join their Regulatory department. The team provide advice on a broad range of regulatory and compliance issues including advice on regulatory investigations and defending civil and criminal proceedings brought by various authorities including the police, Serious Fraud Office, HM Revenue and Customs, the Health and Safety Executive, Environment Agency, Food Standards Agency, Trading Standards and the Financial Conduct Authority. Clients include major international businesses in all sectors and many household names. You will have chance to work with highly experienced Partners/Solicitors and gain some great commercial and technical experience.

You will need:

• To be a NQ Solicitor with at least 6 months experience within a regulatory department, ideally with a national firm or recognised regional commercial practice.
• Good academics.
• Good commercial awareness.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
