A top 100 law firm in Birmingham city centre is seeking a junior construction solicitor - offering a mix of both contentious and none contentious work.
 
This highly regarded team undertakes a wide range of construction work for major employers and developers, including Jaguar Land Rover, Manchester City Football Club, and Harworth Estates. The team also acts for a wide variety of national and international banks on construction finance matters. If you are a junior construction solicitor NQ–2 years' PQE looking to join a reputable construction team, working for a range of high profile clients, under the guidance of knowledgeable and respected partners and senior solicitors then get in touch!
 
You will be given a high level of responsibility from the outset but with full support.  As a junior construction solicitor you will be working on a wide range of matters to include reviewing ad-hoc consultants’ appointments and collateral warranties to drafting, negotiating and preparing the full suite of construction agreements required to deliver schemes and projects. You will also provide full legal support in resolving disputes that may arise through litigation, arbitration, adjudication and mediation.
 
To be considered for this construction solicitor role you must have an excellent academic track record including at least a 2:1 law degree along with having completed a construction training seat within a recognised construction/real estate practice. You must also have a desire and passion to network and get involved in other business development activities.
