Marketing Assistant/Executive - Bristol - £22000 - £26000

A firmly established and very successful national law firm firm dealing with specialist serious illness and high value accident claims have an excellent opportunity within their forward thinking marketing team. They are seeking to appoint a professional and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant / Executive (DOE) to join what is a very busy team in their central Bristol office. The firm are highly successful and have reach all across the the South of England with targeted plans for growth firmly underway. The marketing team will therefore provide significant input and support on many levels the role therefore provides an excellent opportunity for anyone wishing to make their mark in a legal marketing environment.

This is a varied role which will provide you with plenty of challenge and variety, opportunities to engage with many different levels of seniority across the firm and at multiple sites. It will provide you with scope to grow professionally, refine your existing skills to date and really build a reputation within the firm itself and your professional peers. With the role based predominantly in the Bristol office but with some travel to other sites across The South you will be engaging with teams and offices internally, Directors and Fee Earners across the entire firm. Externally you will work with PR consultancy, agencies, suppliers, charities and the firms other sources of commercial and business partners. Within the marketing team itself you will work closely with the Marketing and Business Development Manager providing support and also working on your own tasks and projects.

You can expect to focus on keys areas such as Digital Online marketing as well as hard copy/offline marketing, event management and support on budget management

Digital will include management of website design and content, SEO and/or PPC, display advertising as well as social media platforms with relevant analysis as well as internal / intranet management. Event management will include invites, stand collateral, presentations and engaging with speakers and suppliers. Offline marketing will cover branding, design, Ad campaigns across varied media including print,advertorials, leaflets, radio, photography and video/film.

As you can see this is a highly involved role and will therefore will require an individual who already has competencies in some if not all of these areas. A relevant marketing degree or equivalent professional qualification is seen as highly desirable. You will also need to be able to demonstrate confidence and capabilities in dealing with a variety of different projects at any given time, with an ability to deliver to deadlines and keep all stakeholders informed on progress. As with all good quality marketing professionals communications are key to success on so many levels and you should be confident and relaxed in dealing with seniority at all levels, provide clarity of thought and natural enthusiasm for the projects and campaigns you will be involved with.

The role as stated will engage with individuals across the entire firm, travel will occasionally be required to other sites (fully expensed) . You should have your own transport for such requirements.
