Job Details
1st Line Support, Northampton, Up to £33,000
Douglas Scott is working with a successful and reputable Law firm based in Northampton who are now looking for a 1st line support analyst to join and help support their firm in all things IT.
As the 1st line support engineer you will be responsible for providing support to users in a professional and efficient manner, supporting hardware and software. You will be a key point of contact to ensure the smooth running of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Experience working in a law firm and supporting legal applications is desirable
- Desktop support experience e.g. Windows 7 and 10 troubleshooting & maintenance
- Windows Server troubleshooting & maintenance
- Network infrastructure and connectivity principles knowledge
- VMware knowledge
- Microsoft Office and Microsoft Exchange troubleshooting & maintenance experience
- Hardware build & installation experience
- Knowledge of Security & risk management - firewall, security updates, cybersecurity
- Knowledge of multi-site networks
- Storage management - working knowledge of SAN storage
