Democratic Services Officer
Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an experienced Democratic Services Officer to join a great local authority for an initial 3 months, with a strong possibility of extension. The Democratic Services Officer role will be based within the Merseyside region, providing good transport links.
As Democratic Services Officer you will have previous experience of working within Democratic Services of a Local Authority. Whilst qualification under the Association of Democratic Services Officers is an advantage, it is not a requirement. As Democratic Services Officer you will be able to take on a range of matters, such as:
- Attending committee meetings
- Taking minutes
- Detailed knowledge of local government administrative law
- Advising council members on council procedures
