Property & Housing Litigation Lawyer 3+ PQE (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking a highly motivated and professional solicitor to join our Property & Housing Litigation team in Putney on a short term contract to cover maternity leave. 

This is a full time post but we may consider experienced applicants who wish to work shorter hours – 4 days per week or equivalent.

Having a reasonable understanding of the firm’s values and culture, you will be keen to raise the profile of the team and you will represent our clients to the highest standard.

It is preferred that candidates have experience in all of the following areas:  

• breach of covenant;
• service charge disputes;
• residential forfeiture claims;
• statutory and voluntary lease extensions ;
• Licences to assign and for alterations and related issues;
• private and public sector possession claims;
• boundary, right of way and right of light disputes;
• adverse possession;
• residential disrepair claims.

Applications from candidates with experience in most but not all of these areas will still be considered.

A significant component of the work involves applying the above skills and experience in the context of the management of residential blocks of flats.
