Job Details
A top 100 law firm in Cardiff are looking to expand their costs team. The team works closely with the Claimant departments within the firm while also providing general support for other departments.
The team work predominately on estimates, cost budgets, bill preparation and cost negotiations, they also attend court for detailed assessment and cost and case management hearings.
Main duties will include Preparing Bills of Costs, Prepare Points of Dispute and Replies, Prepare Cost Budgets and attend CCMC hearings, Attend detailed assessment hearings and Mediate cost settlements.
The successful candidate will have gained 12 months experience within Law Costs and have a working knowledge of Legal Aid procedures.
