Your new role
A new commercial role reporting to the Head of Legal as part of a very well respected legal function. You will negotiate complex commercial agreements, including software, managed services and outsourcing contracts. You will also manage the negotiation of IP licenses, while providing sound risk and legal advice to clients as to e-commerce matters and digital applications. As necessary, you will support on acquisitive transactions and data privacy and GDPR matters. You will connect with all areas of the wider business and become recognised as a reliable business advisor, while being comfortable interacting with stakeholders at senior levels.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a UK qualified commercial lawyer with c. 2-5 PQE (as a guide only). You will have demonstrable experience with commercial contracts, particularly negotiating technology agreements, as this will form a significant part of the role. You will need to be a team player able to contribute in general advisory, contracts and legal support matters. Honest and open personalities with strong stakeholder management ability will thrive in this environment.
