Locum Legal Services Manager
An excellent opportunity for a Legal Services Manager has arisen to join an established legal team within a Local Authority in the East Midlands. Our client can initially offer a 3 month contract on a full-time basis with a strong possibility of extension beyond this initial period.
Applications are welcome from Qualified Solicitors, Barristers or Legal Executives with previous experience working as a Legal Services Manager/Head of Legal within a Local Authority.
Duties may include:
- Performance managing a Legal Department of approximately 10 Lawyers, as well as providing general support and guidance as required
- Providing corporate and strategic legal advice to the board and senior politician
- Acting as Deputy Monitoring Officer in charge of Governance Compliance Constitutional powers & FOI/DP
This position offers a daily rate of £450 - £550 per day.
