Residential Conveyancing assistant - Newcastle
My client is a leading provider of legal services based in the North East with offices Newcastle and on the coast. They have an established history and have a great reputation of proving representation to private and publicly funded and business clients. to continued growth within the business they are now seeking to recruit for a experienced conveyancing assistant.
You will be responsible for assisting Fee Earners in all support duties whist maintaining files in an organised fashion as well as speaking to clients either taking instructions or providing an update either over the phone or in person when required. You may also deal with New Builds and will be liaising with HCA by submitting specific forms. Other tasks include but not limited to;
- File Opening
* CDD ID Checks
* Sending out Contract Packs
* Exchange Letters
* Completion Letters
You will possess a high level of interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, IT literacy would be useful as well as previous experience of working in Conveyancing. You will be assertive, articulate and will be self-confident. You will be self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
