The Role

You will be a Corporate & Governance Solicitor, joining an established, successful team ranked in the Legal 500 as a leader in their field.

The Corporate team work on a wide variety matters across a broad range of sectors but have substantial experience of complex property, corporate & commercial finance work.

Many of the departments clients have worked with them for more than 20 years including regulatory bodies, "not for profits", housing associations & local authorities.

You will find yourself working not only with the Corporate team but working closely with the Employment, Real Estate, Projects departments.

The work will include not be limited to; M&A's (typically with deals in excess of £1bn), corporate governance, financial & governance issues, creation of housing bodies but also give you exposure to Social Housing, Regulation, Charity & Community Benefit matters.

You will be working directly with the Partners gaining significant exposure to more complex matters.

Requirements:

• You will be a Corporate & Governance Solicitor with 3+ years PQE
• You will have experience of general Corporate/Commercial matters
• Experience of Charity, HA and regulatory law would be an advantage
• Strong communication skills
• A commitment to a collegiate approach to legal practice;
• An appreciation of business development, of how to market and develop a practice; and
• A strong academic background.
