IT/Commercial Senior Lawyer

A US firm in the City of London are looking to recruit a specialist in IT/Commercial law into their Corporate practice. You will be a senior lawyer with at least 6 years PQE. The role comes with realistic Partnership prospects and a competitive salary.

The Role

Due to continued growth the team are looking to recruit a specialist IT/Commercial Senior Lawyer into their Corporate practice. You will ideally be 6+ years PQE (there is no upper limit in terms of PQE level).

The team boast a broad Corporate & Commercial offering with a strength in Tech, IT, Data Privacy & Cyber Security.

The successful candidate should have a broad range of experience in Commercial/IT work including commercial contracts, projects and transactional experience advising on a broad range of matters.

There will be a high level of client contact, responsibility and a transparent career track as well as the opportunity to mentor junior team members.

The Requirements

• At least 6 years PQE with a strong Corporate background in IT/Commercial work.
• Experience of working in a team. Drafting, negotiating and advising on legal documents for clients.
• Able to analyse complex legal issues and provide market leading innovative solutions and advice.
• Able to develop relationships with clients and staff at all levels.
• Good problem solver, able to offer practical solutions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Able to adapt to different cultures worldwide.
• Strong people management skills.
