The Role
With good experience in a general mix of civil litigation and dispute resolution work, you will be joining the firm’s Harlow office, taking instructions directly from clients and also through referrals from commercial and non-contentious fee-earners within the firm.  This may include breach of contract cases, consumer protection, contentious probate, professional negligence, landlord and tenant, neighbour disputes, and debt collection.

Our client is looking for someone with good advocacy experience, including appearing in the High Court. You should also be familiar with enforcement procedures and various funding options including CFAs, DBAs and LEI.

The Candidate
Fee earners with at least one years' experience and with a solid understanding of general civil litigation are encouraged to apply; although it is not essential to have experience in all the areas listed above, it is important that you have the ability to apply your litigation skills to the various disciplines;
Some advocacy experience is essential;
You should be focused, meticulous and with great attention to detail, able to identify the major issues at a glance;
Practical, confident, able to think creatively with a strong commercial approach;
The firm uses state-of-the-art IT and excellent computer skills are essential;
Excellent client care skills are essential.
