Your new company
This multi-million pound turnover business, with an established client base, has ambitious plans to grow following a recent investment. You will join as in-house legal support for a small head office function, in a brand new office location, supporting on a range of corporate and commercial matters.
Your new role
This is a truly varied role, working closely with the finance and commercial teams, where you will gain exposure to a range of commercial matters from high value commercial agreements to property leases. You will join a growing and ambitious corporate office and will assist the business on a wide range of tasks from drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, developing policy documents, legal research and compliance advice as well as working with external law firms where required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be LPC qualified and have experience in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, either in private practice or in industry. Paralegal experience in other commercial disciplines such as real estate, corporate, regulatory, commercial litigation, employment will also be considered. You must have a strong appreciation for contract law with a good legal understanding, either from previous paralegal / legal assistant experience or from your law degree / LPC / GDL studies. You will have excellent academics and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the business. Future trainee solicitors due to start their training contract from 2020 will also be considered. This opportunity is also open to newly qualified solicitors.

You will be offered a starting salary between £20,000 - £30,000 depending on skills, qualification and experience.
