Head of Family

An experienced Family solicitor is required to take up the position as "Head of Family" for a medium sized commercial firm based in Chester. You will be heading up a team of 3 fee earners, with secretarial support available for yourself and all fee earners. The department and client base is already established with a strong flow of private work from the surrounding areas.

The firm are very well known within the surrounding areas and have developed a strong client base for private family matters. Very high standards of client care are adhered to, resulting in a number of referrals and recommendations.

The family department has 3 fee earners and 2 secretaries - this role is on the pathway to partnership if that is of interest, ideally the firm are hoping to reinstate a Family partner to the firm. Majority of the cases are divorce, financial matters and private children matters with a small amount of legal aid that is dealt with by another fee earner.

This role would suit someone who is confident in their technical and management abilities, who wants to head up an already established department and develop the department further.
