IT Solicitor – West Midlands – Top 100 Firm – Competitive Package

Regional Heavyweight seeks an IT Solicitor to join its commercial team during an exciting period of growth. This position offers a highly competitive package and excellent prospects for development.

We are looking for a technically adept Solicitor who specialises in IT law. You will be able to interact with senior stakeholders from technology companies, understand their commercial needs and speak their language. This will be backed up with impeccable drafting skills and an excellent knowledge of the intricacies of commercial law, particularly as it relates to software contracts.

You will act for software companies and IT service providers, providing them with comprehensive commercial legal support. The quality of work is high and with deals typically valued between £100k and £10million. You will have an opportunity to run high value deals and negotiate independently. The firm has a loyal client base and as such no business development will be required.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered for the right individual and a degree of home working can be accommodated. The package will be dependent on experience and will include a competitive salary and benefits.

This position would be ideally suited to a Commercial Solicitor specialising in IT law who is looking to have a high level of autonomy and make a significant impact at a top 100 firm.

We are keen to hear from Solicitors specialising in IT Law at all levels of experience and particularly interested in hearing from Solicitors with three to seven years PQE.
