A Public Sector organisation in the West Midlands region is currently recruiting for a Corporate Governance Locum Lawyer due to an increase in demand for corporate legal support. This is likely to be for an interim period of 3-6 months.

The successful candidate will be required to provide support and advice to the Head of Governance, existing team members and client departments during a period of growth and development within the organisation. You will provide support and guidance in relation to a number of current projects which will require the re-design of a range of governance arrangements and review of the constitutional arrangements.

Applications are welcomed from qualified Lawyers with demonstrable post qualification experience specialising in Corporate Governance within a Local Authority or a public sector organisation.

Hourly rates can be discussed dependant on experience, however a guide rate of £45 to £50/hour is expected. Whilst this is a full time position, part time applications will also be considered. Home working will also be considered and can be discussed.
