Job Details

A rare opportunity for an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor to join a leading Legal 500 firm at their office in the heart of London.

My client is a leading Legal 500 firm with offices across London and Kent. Ranked in both Chambers and the Legal 500 as a leading firm, they have built a highly talented litigation team with an excellent retention rate. It is therefore unusual for them to need to recruit at this level.

This is a great position for a real estate/property litigation Solicitor in the 4-8 year PQE bracket. Work is broad ranging with the opportunity to specialise in a niche if so desired. The team deals with: dilapidation, forfeiture, repossessions, defaults, insolvency, service charge disputes, lease renewals and claims arising from breach of property contracts. You will be working alongside a very strong commercial property team who have an excellent client base. This is part of a national department handling an excellent quality of work on behalf of a client base that includes household name developers, investors and occupiers.

Salary is dependant on the level of experience that you bring to the position and the published salary is a guide only. The firm also offer excellent benefits, including private medical, 25 days holiday and life assurance.

Company

QED
An acronym of the latin phrase quod erat demonstrandum which translates as "thus it is demonstrated" or "that which was to be demonstrated". It is most often used as an annotation at the end of a complex mathematical, scientific or philosophical argument to show that the author had proven what he had set out to prove. In recent times it has also been translated as "Quite Easily Done".

As a recruiter you have to network and speak to large amounts of people and lots of law firms to really understand the market and have the connections to match people with opportunity quickly when the time arises. A good recruiter needs to be Quick, Excellent and Dynamic in everything that they do. Allow the team at QED to demonstrate what they can do for your firm or your career.
