Commercial Property Locum

Venn Group's specialist legal team are excited to be recruiting for a Locum Commercial Property Lawyer to join a small team working within a Local Authority in the East Midlands.

The council will consider full time and part time applications and is likely to last for an initial period of 3 months with a high possibility of extension.

The client will consider Qualified Solicitors, Barristers, Legal executives or someone qualified by experience as long as they have appropriate experience working within Local Government. Experienced Lawyers with a Private Practice background possessing the relevant experience will also be considered.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Providing legal support on a range of property and contract matters to internal clients, dealing with external lawyers and other professionals
• Dealing with both commercial and residential property matters
• Dealing with Right to Buys, Licences, Acquisitions, Landlord and Tenant matters deeds of grant, Tenancy Agreements, Leases, deeds of postponement/covenants, considering title enquiries, Rights of ways, Statutory Declarations and drafting property documentation

A highly attractive rate of £30 - £40 per hour, dependant upon experience is offered.
