Thriving practice located in an historic market town seeks solicitor of legal executive with civil litigation expertise.

Joining a team of specialists located in Bury St Edmunds, the successful lawyer will utilise their expertise to manage a diverse caseload covering all aspects of general civil litigation. Ensuring high levels of client care and service at all times, the successful lawyer will seek to resolve matters in a cost-effective and friendly manner.

  • Contentious probate
  • Debt proceedings
  • Employment disputes
  • Professional negligence
  • Consumer disputes
  • Neighbour and boundary disputes
  • Contract claims
  • Advising on ADR including mediation and arbitration
  • Taking matters to court and conducting advocacy
  • Conducting negotiations 
  • Participating in business development and marketing initiatives
The Candidate
  • Applications are welcomed from experienced solicitor with a minimum of two years’ PQE or a similarly-experienced legal executive
  • Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • A compelling negotiator and robust advocate
  • Good IT skills and proficiency using a case management system will be essential
  • Efficient, reliable and with excellent client care skills
  • Interested in undertaking marketing and business development initiatives
