A very well established firm with an excellent reputation and centrally based office, considered to be one of the leading regional firms. They pride themselves on delivering first-class advice and ensuring a successful client outcomes with a friendly and client-focused approach. The Family team are based across several Hampshire locations. A new requirement for an experienced Legal Secretary has emerged in the Winchester office

The team cover a wide range of Family related matters including divorce, separation, cohabitee disputes as well as children related matters. The team engage in collaborative law, mediation and also deal with domestic violence related issues as well and financial matters.

The subject matter of the work is often highly sensitive and so requires a certain approach and also one of the utmost discretion. If you are an experienced Legal Secretary with expertise in providing support to Family Lawyers/Solicitors this role should provide a great deal of interest to you. As an individual you should have a good interpersonal skills a confident manner with good ability to communicate at all levels both within a firm and in dealing with clients on occasions. An ability to organise your day and work to deadlines in an efficient and accurate manner is key. A good grasp of modern IT / legal software and associated procedure specific to Family matters would be viewed as highly advantageous.
