Paralegal

LAW Absolute is working in partnership with an innovative Technology and IT Solutions Company in their search for a Paralegal for an initial period of 6 months based in Surrey.

Working alongside the General Counsel the role offers excellent exposure to all areas of working in house and is a brilliant opportunity to develop career options.

Key accountabilities:

• Set up and manage the Legal Support Desk for contracts support
• Identify where support should be delegated to outside counsel and ensure external support is properly managed to time and budget
• Set up a contracts template database for Group use
• Provide support on Legal policy preparation and monitoring/reporting

Ideal Profile:

• LPC/Law Degree
• Previous experience in house is advantageous
• Familiar with setting up and implementing contract systems
• Enthusiastic with a willingness to work proactively
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (especially MS Word)
• Available on short notice
