Pensions Lawyer

A US firm based in the City of London are expanding their Pension practice and are looking to hire an entrepreneurial, ambitious Pensions lawyer with 1-5 years PQE to handle a range of contentious and non-contentious Pensions matters.

You will already have a career as a Pensions Associate at a recognised, well regarded law firm and need to have the drive and determination to want to progress.

This position is with a top tier, heavyweight US law firm. They have a full service offering and a stronghold in areas such as Corporate, Litigation & Arbitration, Sports & Entertainment, Infrastructure, Life Science, Brand Products, Aerospace and Transport.

The Role

This practice is a big hitter in this sector and one of the largest and most experienced pure Pensions teams in the UK legal sphere.

They are at the forefront of pensions development and actively look to influence UK government policies.

Work includes contributing to all the major UK pension professional bodies, providing secondments to major inhouse departments, the Pensions Regulator and the Pensions Protection Fund.

The team are active across almost all sectors including healthcare, financial services, infrastructure, local government, charity/not for profit, manufacturing, chemical, engineering and automotive.

Requirements

• Experience as a Pensions Lawyer with 1-5 years PQE with significant experience in the sector.
• Strong knowledge of Pensions law with a willingness to learn.
• Outgoing, with a commercial attitude and confident, positive approach.
• Must be qualified in England & Wales as a Solicitor and currently practising at a well recognised private practice law firm in the UK.
