Legal Adviser

Salary: £39,961-£42,806 plus £3,650 London Weighting plus 5% pension contribution. 
Hours: Full time (35 hours per week)
Duration: 18 months contract
Location: You will be based in our office in Dalston, London

 

Family Rights Group is the charity that works with parents whose children are in need, deemed at risk or are in the care system and with members of the wider family who are raising children unable to remain at home. 

We advise parents, grandparents, other relatives and friends about their rights and options when social workers or courts make decisions about their children’s welfare.

We are recruiting a lawyer with three years post-qualifying experience of children and families work. Your tasks will include updating the Charity on relevant developments in child welfare law and practice; developing responses and recommendations to reform of legislation, policy and practice and contributing to the development of our advice and advocacy service and Lifelong Links work.
