The dynamic Commercial and NHS Regulatory team at NWSSP Legal and Risk Services requires a full-time solicitor, barrister or legal executive, to assist with a diverse caseload of matters on the instruction of NWSSP, Welsh Government, Welsh NHS Trusts and Health Boards.


The successful candidate will have experience of working in a legal practice, or within a public sector organisation providing legal services. The team covers a broad range of matters including commercial contract, procurement, Data Protection, NHS regulatory and administrative law amongst many others. The candidate will demonstrate an excellent understanding of the requirements of an in-house service and a good track record of team working.


The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Newly Qualified Defendant General Advisory & Clinical Negligence Litigation  Solicitor (Full-time)

We are an in-house team based in Cardiff providing healthcare advice and handling litigation for NHS Wales.

We are looking for an enthusiastic solicitor to assist and provide support to the NHS Continuing Healthcare team and also assist in the provision of general advice to Health Boards in Wales and the conduct of defendant clinical negligence litigation.

Ideally, you should have some experience in the following areas:

- continuing health care;
- defendant clinical negligence;
- NHS general advisory work.

This post will be a 3 year contract (with possible extension) subject to satisfactory completion of probationary period.
