Inquests Lawyer - A leading national law firm require an inquests lawyer to join their Birmingham office. The successful inquests lawyer will have at least 2 years PQE and be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister. Working as a part of a very successful clinical advisory department acting on behalf of the NHS, Care Homes and Insurance Companies. This opportunity is due to continued demand and planned expansion of the Birmingham team and will involve advising on issues such as;

·Representing NHS bodies and private providers at inquest
·Serious incident investigations and inquiries -
·Patient issues - considering issues in respect of treatment, capacity queries, continuing care, mental healthcare, patient safety funding of treatment.
·Information law - the application of the DPA, GDPR, FOIA and information governance, police record checks procedure.
·Public law issues

The role offers a very high quality and challenging variety of work including dealing with some of the most important and politically sensitive cases for the NHS. Essentially, the successful inquests lawyer will have the skills to deal with very senior NHS management.
