Locum Education Lawyer
Reference: 6730460
A position has arisen for a Locum Education Lawyer within a leading public sector organisation in South Wales for a 9-12 month assignment. It is paying between £35-45 per hour depending on experience with a flexible working arrangement.
Your duties will include:
- Provide and contribute to the provision of legal advise to the organisation
- Draft a range of formal documentation
- Provide advice in respect of admissions and admission appeals
- Dealt with all aspects of appeals to the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal
- Provide effective advocacy at hearings before the SEND Tribunal
- Contribute to the effective delivery of services
- Provide advise on governing bodies, appointments, school policies and procedures
- Undertake other duties and responsibilities specified by the Director of Legal Services
