A prominent international organisation in the hospitality sector, with a growing presence across the EMEA region. My client employs nearly 3,500 people across the globe and has an impressive property portfolio of over £1.6 billion.The office in Central London hosts the small legal team with four lawyers reporting into the General Counsel.

Your new role

An in-house Corporate Commercial role reporting into the General Counsel. Part of a small Central London based function, you will support the business on a variety of business critical corporate matters including M&A, corporate finance and governance matters. You will also be exposed to commercial contracts, property law, data protection and employment matters as and when they arise. Interacting collaboratively with senior stakeholders, you will show credibility across the business.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a UK or common law qualified lawyer with 2-5 PQE (guide only), either from a private practice or in-house environment. You will have extensive corporate and M&A experience and will be proficient in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts. Ideally you will have corporate finance exposure. You will need to be a team player able to contribute in general advisory, contracts and legal support matters. As this is an interim position, you must be available on short notice.
