Job Details
You will manage a full caseload advising clients on sales, purchases, freehold, leasehold, mortgages, transfers and shared ownership matters of registered and unregistered residential land or property plus deal with other conveyancing issues which may arise.
Duties will include: -
*Taking instructions from clients
*Providing written estimates and advice;
*Applying for and checking searches;
*Obtaining or checking Land Registry documents or title deeds (if unregistered);
*Preparing and checking Reports on Title;
*Dealing with enquiries;
*Drafting and checking Agreement, Contract and Transfer documentation;
*Checking and advising on mortgage instructions;
*Preparing for and receiving funds in readiness for completion and dealing with all financial aspects of a transaction;
*Dealing with exchange and completion;
*Ensuring post completion work is undertaken to include payment of Stamp Duty and registration at the Land Registry within time constraints.
You will also be IT literate, with a high level of knowledge and understanding in Word, Excel, Outlook, Land Registry online and using a case management system. Secretarial support will be provided but being self-sufficient in producing your own work when necessary is essential.
