Our client is actively recruiting for a driven solicitor who possesses duty accreditation or is a PSAR and keen to gain duty status. The successful candidate will manage a mixed caseload of all criminal matters, providing a high-quality representation at police stations and Magistrates’ Courts. This is a great opportunity for professional development and progression.

  • Providing a comprehensive service to Legal Aid clients
  • Attending police stations both in and outside of office hours
  • Providing advice and advocacy in the Magistrates’ Court
  • Running police station and Magistrates’ Court files
  • Interviewing witnesses and drafting witness statements
The Candidate
  • Applications are encouraged from solicitors with a wide range of experience  in criminal defence matters
  • Possessing duty accreditation and/or police station accreditation would be advantageous
  • A pragmatic and proactive approach is desirable
  • The ability to provide first-class client care is essential
  • The successful Crime Solicitor will be technically proficient
  • The ability to think laterally and approach issues creatively and collaboratively is required
