Residential Conveyancing Solicitor - Head of Dept.

A leading top tier law firm in Corby is seeking a senior qualified Fee Earner to take up a Head of Residential Property position in their well regarded and well-known property team for a FTC for 9 - 12 months.  

For this busy and demanding role, you will need to be a qualified Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor.

The firm is successful and full-service, with multiple offices within Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, and Leicestershire. They provide property and wider private and commercial client advice to a network of high-value clients in and around the Northern Home Counties and Midlands markets. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor with a focus on high-value top quality residential conveyancing. You will be expected to have a wealth of exposure to freehold and leasehold residential property, new builds, right to buy and wider work within the Midlands and Northern Home Counties markets. You will be used to managing a team of 5 or 6 individuals who are competent and well trained with a focus on managing compliance, training and caseloads run compliantly. 

The ideal candidate will be a solicitor, CLC or CILEx Lawyer with at least 5 years' PQE and a genuine reputation for quality of work within the local area. You will ideally have exposure to business development and not shy away from partaking in related activities.
