Law Costs Draftsman - Legal 500, Chambers Ranked Firm - Central London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Law Costs Draftsman to join an international commercial law firm based to be based in their central London office. Salary is negotiable depending on your level of experience and will be very competitive plus an excellent benefits package.

This legal 500, chambers ranked firm with offices spanning the globe are a multi service law firm who have an excellent name in the market place. You will work on a caseload of predominately high value claims with an emphasis on those of a marine and shipping nature as well as some clinical negligence claims.

Responsibilities will include drafting and considering costs estimates in arbitration and high court disputes, schedules of costs, bills of costs/budgets, negotiating costs to settlement, preparing costs submissions in arbitration proceedings and ideally attending CCMCs/detailed assessment hearings if required. The role involves dealing with both adverse and recovery costs claims on predominantly multi track and arbitration matters. This role requires a self-starter with the confidence to work autonomously, working on files from start to finish.

You will have a minimum of 3 years plus experience in Law costs and have up to date knowledge of current costs issues. This is a really exciting opportunity for a Law Costs Draftsman to join an international, legal 500, chambers ranked law firm based in their Central London office.
