Private Client Solicitor

Joining a highly successful & busy team you will hit the ground running with your own varied caseload covering a variety of Private Client files. The role is to be based in Beverley and there may also be the need to carry out home visits.

The role will involve advising clients on Private Client matters including drafting Wills, inheritance tax planning, trust creation and administration, court of protection applications, estate administration, registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney and drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney. They also require someone to assist in the supervision of junior members of the team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in wills, administration of estates, lasting powers of attorney and deputyship applications. Knowledge of complex estates, deeds of variation, drafting and administration of trusts, inheritance tax planning registrations, care home funding advice and property work including severance of joint tenancies, assents, first registrations would also be an advantage.

The successful candidate should be at least 2+ years' PQE, however, this level of experience has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this bracket.
