Housing Case Handler - Law Graduate

Housing Case Handler - This is a great opportunity for a law graduate to join a housing asset management team for a leading law firm in Hampshire as a housing case handler. The successful housing case handler will be a law graduate an join a team dealing with sales, purchases, staircasing, re-sales, Right to Buys, Replies to Enquiries, Lease Extensions, Deeds of Variation/Rectification, Transfers of Equity and Re-Mortgages. This housing case handler role will be working as part of the busy and supportive Plot Sales and Asset Management team within Housing and Regeneration alongside 12 others, reporting into a Team Leader, Lawyer and a partner.

Main duties and responsibilities;

· File opening , initial letters, engrossments billing, file closures, deeds scheduling, right to buy, completion support, Conveyancing, deeds of variation, replying to enquiries
· issuing plot sales papers, assisting Case Advisors and Case Manager with plot sales matters and admin support such as obtaining title and planning documents, estate layout plan approval and compliance certificates

Candidates should ideally have:

·Educated to degree standard; · current/recent Real Estate / Commercial Property / Social Housing experience (is an advantage but not essential); · good drafting skills; · good communication skills; · good administration skills; and · good IT skills.

Salary £18,000 to £21,000 dependent upon experience
