The role
The firm are seeking to hire a Commercial Rail Lawyer into their flourishing City of London office.
This department is award winning, the team have won several prestigious accolades in recent years.
This role primarily involves working with commercial contracts and advising on regulation and projects, specifically within the rail sector. As a result, the position will be within the award winning and top ranked rail team at the firm. The past few years have been highly successful for the rail team, which has seen the client base significantly grow and the team expanding accordingly.
This will be a broad role which will see you working on; Franchising and concessions, Rolling stock, Regulation, Infrastructure and Depot financing.
There are excellent opportunities for career progression within this team, with lots of direct involvement with clients as well as marketing and business development.
Requirements
- You will be a qualified Lawyer with between 1-5 years PQE
- Experience with commercial contracts is essential, with past exposure to rail (either from a projects or rail finance team) highly desirable, but not essential - training will be given · A keen interest in the rail industry is essential
- Experience of dealing with franchises and concessions would be ideal
- Background in a firm with an excellent reputation in commercial contracts (which is likely to include rail projects or rail finance)
- Excellent academic and professional qualifications
- Salary is above market rate and negotiate depending on your level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package
