NHS Claims Manager

Our client, a large, well-established Central London NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an interim Claims Manager to join their team and assist the Director of Quality Assurance with claims made against the trust.

On a day to day basis, you will be managing all claims relating to clinical negligence and public and employer loability. This will involve managing the claims investigation and responding to these claims. You will be liaising with NHSLA, claimant and panel solicitors with regard to medical and non-medical documentation disclosure and act as the Trust's primary contact with claimant solicitors for pre-actions claims.

The post is initally for one month (with the possibility of extension) and amazing opportunity for someone to join a busy NHS Foundation Trust and assist with a large volume of casework.

The ideal candidate will ideally posses:

• Previous Claims Management experience within an NHS Trust
• The ability to pick up a busy caseload quickly and without supervision
• Experience assisting and supporting managers within a busy environment
