In House Private Client Solicitor / Legacy Manager

Our client, a well-renowned health charity based in Central London are looking for an in-house private client solicitor to join their legacy management team to support with the charity's large workload of legacy casework, working towards their fundraising income target.

The position will involve assisting the head of legacies with the management of the legacy team, supporting legacy officers and administrators, as well as handling private client law queries from external solicitors while working on bequests.

This is a permanent position and will be a great opportunity for a strong private client solicitor or a STEP practitioner, who is looking to join a charity with an impressive fundraising history with even more potential for the years to come.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in the following areas:

• Qualified solicitor with extensive experience of private client work (Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners qualification is also desirable)
• Experience of legacy administration at a senior level
• Line management experience
• Experience of using First Class 4 for case management
• Legal experience within the charity sector
• Strong communication with external solicitors, stakeholders and the public
