That is despite this firm having market leading levels of expertise provided by a contingent of lawyers many of whom are from national brand backgrounds. And they enjoy a client list which includes high profile institutional clients, non-profit organisations, charities, and a element of HNW individuals and landed estates. Overall it is an intriguing firm with a precious identity within the market and a great platform for a lawyer to be part of. (Frequently this is a firm favoured by lawyers looking for "something a bit different" as whilst this isn't in-house it also isn't a typical private practice culture.)

Their interesting client base is serviced with Employment Law advice, focusing on non-contentious matters as oppose to tribunal work, and this should provide an interesting caseload for their next recruit. Well honed client skills will be of the utmost importance as you'll have client contact from the outset and immediate involvement in business development initiatives and networking with other teams, and also with clients which are across the North.

Suitable candidates will likely have c1-4yrPQE, and be coming from a good quality background, preferably with a track record in respondent work. This is a firm which values life experience and so employment lawyers who've perhaps had previous careers or who have come to the law a little later in their working life will definitely be of interest.
