Your new role
A commercial legal counsel reporting into the Legal Director, as part of a fully integrated in-house function. Working in partnership with the compliance, data protection, finance and litigation teams, you will provide sound commercial risk analysis and legal advice. You will negotiate and draft business critical commercial agreements and advise the advertising, marketing and consumer teams as to regulatory and commercial compliance for external campaigns. You will also support the Data Protection Officer with GDPR and privacy matters.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a UK or European qualified commercial lawyer with at least 1 PQE and strong risk analysis ability. You will thrive in building relationships with stakeholders across the business, and pro-actively advising the business on commercial matters. You will have trained at a reputable regional, national or City firm, ideally with some in-house exposure through a secondment or otherwise. You will be a confident and approachable communicator happy to work within a small but highly respected legal function.
