Job Details
Our client, the global leader in advanced energy solutions, is currently looking to expand their in-house legal team with the appointment of an experienced In-house Construction Counsel.
As an in-house Legal Counsel (specialising in non-contentious construction law) you will play a pivotal role in the successful of one of the worlds largest energy groups. As a Legal Counsel, you will be required to provide timely and effective legal advice to assist in the structuring, negotiation, drafting and delivery of highly complex, innovative, construction and engineering projects.
Key accountabilities include:
* Proven ability to provide relative legal support on a wide and varied range of complex commercial projects- specifically in relation to joint construction ventures, land development and regeneration and funding arrangements
* Exceptional drafting and negotiating skills with the ability to draft both bespoke and industry standard agreements
This is an incomparable opportunity for an eager and commercially minded solicitor to join a renowned business to deliver the energy needs of the future today. Salary is offered up to £83,000 per annum with the eligibility of an annual personal performance-based bonus of 10%. An additional car allowance of £6,100 per annum, along with a whole host of competitive benefits, are as standard.
The ideal candidate will have an excess of 6 years PQE gained either in Private Practice or In-house with a global construction or engineering firm. However, other candidates will be considered if they can demonstrate comparable experience.
