In-House Commercial Lawyer job with financial services company in Bristol - Flexible Working

This Global financial services provider is looking for an In-House Lawyer to join their Legal team in Bristol to provide effective support to their business. The role offers flexible working and possible part-time hours for the right candidate.

Your new role
You will be assisting the Head of Legal, as well as assisting the wider business with a varied range of projects and tasks that require both legal support and review. You will be providing advice to a range of stakeholders across the business; specifically, this role will involve providing pro-active legal advice and influential insight, in a commercial way, to internal clients to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. You will split your time between advising on deals yourself as well as managing externals on other matters. This is a varied and fast-paced role responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts including IT, procurement and supplier agreements.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a similar position and will have experience within the Financial Services industry. You will need to be able to provide pragmatic and fast advice to your internal clients, understanding their commercial and strategic needs. The role requires good influencing skills, commercial judgement and a pro-active approach and involves interaction with both junior and senior level executives. Ideally you will possess previous in-house experience, but this is not a pre-requisite.
