Your new company
A leading legal 100 firm in the heart of Reading is looking to increase their headcount after a number of very successful senior team additions. Your new role
You will be assisting the partners and senior solicitors with a wide range of large commercial project transactions whilst also attaining responsibility for driving completion of assignment for various other commercial matters such as; trading agreements, T'c & C's, distribution and agency agreements, research and collaboration agreements, all aspects of data protection compliance and advise, IT contracts, IP licensing agreements, consumer contracts and non-disclosure agreements.

Large scale projects of such will include working across both private and public sector clients such as medical equipment suppliers, IT projects, public procurement with the NHS and local government sectors. With exposure to a wide variety of work to a junior solicitor, you will be further assisting with GDPR and data protection.

What you'll need to succeed
Most of all you should be passionate about commercial law as well as be enthusiastic to learn and grow into your new career. Your previous practise experience should span over a few year and you should have been exposed to a variety of case work and be confident in you ability to complete commercial work the a high quality level. Additional experience or interest in areas of I.T and data protection would be preferred and useful however not essential.

You should be a qualified solicitor with at least 3 years PQE, you should also have a strong academic background, commercial awareness, have a keen eye for details, be a team player, have a professional mannerism and provide examples of previous business development.
