An exciting new opportunity has arisen with a major UK law firm, who are looking to recruit a senior Banking Solicitor or Partner to join a highly regarded Legal 500 firm in their Leeds office.
The firm is known for working with some of the world's most ambitious and rapidly growing businesses and has a network of offices working together as one national team, meaning there is great opportunity for development and growth with your career. The firm has an outstanding reputation across the UK for the services they provide and is a genuine 'Employer of Choice'.
They are looking for someone to lead the development of the Leeds team, supported by teams in other offices. They are on the majority of the panels nationally so there is very much an open door with the clients, however they need someone who can capitalise upon this within Leeds and the wider Yorkshire area for them.
The work that the firm currently handles includes advising clients on a range of financing transactions handling matters including but not limited to; corporate lending, acquisition finance, asset finance, real estate finance, marine and shipping finance, invoice discounting and refinancing. Their Banking team generally advises a wide range of clients across various sectors, often with a multi-jurisdictional element which include borrowers, lenders and investors.
The successful candidate should ideally be 7 years' PQE or more. However, this level of experience has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this level but who have the relevant knowledge/experience, together with the enthusiasm for this particular role.
