LAW Absolute are currently working with a Housing Association, who are seeking a Housing Lawyer for an 8 month fixed term contract.
Our client is a leading provider of affordable homes and they are seeking candidates with varied housing experience.
The successful Housing Lawyer will be required to manage and have conduct of a full caseload of approximately 30-40 housing files.
Your caseload will encompass ASB, succession, subletting and hoarding. You will also be required to support the operational Head of Service to ensure legal risks are identified.
Duties of the role-
Housing Lawyers in the organisation are required to take conduct of a housing litigation caseload from start to end, alongside providing training to staff on topical issues relating to Housing Law.
In order to be considered for the role, you will need to be a Solicitor admitted to the roll of Solicitors in England and Wales or, a fellow of ILEX and therefore eligible to be called a Legal Executive.
