My client is a leading and award winning international commercial law with offices throughout the UK and Europe and the Far East. They are looking for an experienced Commercial / Corporate solicitor for their Northern Offices

We are looking for ambitious commercial / corporate Associates to join our rapidly growing team of highly experienced specialists working on a wide range of healthcare commercial matters for the NHS and other public and private organisations operating in the health and social care sector.

You will be given plenty of client responsibility and exposure but at the same time be part of a supportive team environment.

Core areas may include but are not limited to:
* Supporting commercial and procurement work for NHS bodies, local authorities and private sector health providers and advising on commercial contracting structures used within both the commissioner and provider sectors, including NHS Standard Form contracts; Joint Ventures; Public Private Partnerships; service level agreements; primary care contracts;
* Advising on New Care Models in the NHS; dealing with innovative contracting structures / corporate joint ventures; major transactions, mergers and acquisitions involving health bodies;
* Supporting and advising on public procurement processes;
* Advising on public bodies' governance and constitutional issues, conflicts and vires.
* Developing templates and new products relevant to clients and supporting business development initiatives

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for highly motivated and innovative Associates who want to work collaboratively to contribute to the further development and growth of the team.
* Law degree (or equivalent)
* Solid experience in commercial and/or corporate work ideally within the health and care sector but other relevant experience will be considered;
* Ability to work as part of a team;
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
* Ability to play a proactive part in business development activity
* Positive attitude and interest in exploring and learning about new and unfamiliar legal areas;
* Ability to work flexibly and proactively;
* Excellent communication/client service skills;
* Excellent attention to detail;
* Excellent organisational skills.
